Kingscote Barn with dancefloor/uplighting for Dave & Suzanne.
Kingscote Barn is located in beautiful Stroud and a popular venue for a large number of our clients such as Dave & Suzanne back in 2014.
As with many of our wedding clients we met up to discuss what music they’re into and what they wanted their evening party to look and sound like.
Resulting from this we discussed about using our online request feature that allows them and their guests to make requests via our website. We ended up with a wide range of requests such as rnb, Motown and some hip hop tracks (their guests did like to dance!)
We then discussed several ideas and opted to go for our DJ/dancefloor and uplighting package. The uplighting choice of purple suited the venue and the black LED dancefloor would really “set the stage” for some dance offs later on in the night.
Before we knew it the day had arrived and we were really lucky with the weather. This meant once the wedding breakfast had finished we set to work quickly to get everything setup (while the guests could enjoy the amazing views from the garden area). The uplighting we installed earlier in the day meant we could cut down our setup time. Within the hour we were all set to kick things off with the cake cutting and first dance.
Thanks to our careful planning and previous experience of working at Kingscote Barn meant the day ran smoothly. We were lucky to work with longtime friends in the industry such as Adam Drake Photography and Strawberry Fields Catering.
